Astronomy: It is the scientific study of the matter beyond the earth's atmosphere. In other words, it can be defined as the scientific study of the universe and the heavenly bodies in it like planets, stars, sun, moon, galaxies, constellations etc. The objects of the universe can be seen with the naked eye like sun, moon, stars etc and also includes those objects which cannot be seen with the naked eye but can be seen or observed with the help of telescope like galaxies, small particles etc. The branch of Astronomy delas with the study of composition, position, size, motion, energy and other things of the astronomical bodies. The astronomers observe the celestial bodies with different rays like radio waves, visible, x-rays and other waves coming from these celestial bodies towards the earth.
