Introduction
The Chesapeake was one of the colonies of British America in the Colony Dominion of Virginia, 17th Century. The Chesapeake economy was based on the production of only one crop, Tobacco. The growing of Tobacco led to a reduction in soil quality, and the continuous production didn't give the soil enough time to replenish. Hence, the health of people decreased. During the same time, there was a prolongment in the settlement's growth due to malaria cases. As a result of this, the life expectancy of the people was also at a constant average of low as compared to the colonists from Europe and other colonies
