. The objectives : to identify the impact of rising food prices on the community’s eating habits, outline how rising food prices has affected the spending power of the community, identify how rising food prices has affected the recreational time of the community, and to identify how the responses to rising food prices in St. Vincent has impacted the community of Paul’s Avenue. The researcher employed two different theories to help achieve the objectives: the Demand and Supply theory and the Marxist theory.
