just need an advice language: python so I'm working on this substitution cipher where a user will input a statement plus randomized a-z letters. so the scenario goes like this: alphabet = abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz statement = abyz if the randomized a-z letters = qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm then output should be: qwnm (q=a, w=b, e=c, and so on..). where every small caps letter on the statement excluding the punctuation marks or whatsoever, will be substituted with its equivalent in the randomized a-z letter. my problem is, i am limited to using only while loops, iterations, if-elif-else statements. i CANT use for loops, len(), lists, and other stuffs. any idea on how i can make my program work out? i've been thinking since earlier morning and over 24hrs later and i still cant figure it out
