While the walking dead mainly tell the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by former police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. As the world is overrun by the dead, it takes its toll on the survivors, their interpersonal conflicts present a greater danger to their continuing survival. Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some are growing willing to do anything to survive. Reading the books and watching the TV show, it is seen that they both have similarities and differences. Firstly, both the novel and the movie series are the cause of their fights. American war conflicts start because of ecological collapse. The government wanted to stop states from using fossil fuels. And the conflicts in TWD (The Walking Dead) were Zombies. The survivors started up small "wars" to obtain many resources. While there are| similarities, we must also point out the differences. Rick Grimes does not always have war, he takes people in especially when they have a specific type of skill (e.g. Doctor, electrical engineer, etc.)
