Is the right to work without first joining a union a basic right? Why did the CIO call management fascist, and why did management call the CIO communist?
The Congress of Industrial Organization (CIO) was a union that organize the workers of US and Canada created in 1935 with an objective to help the employees due to the Great Depression. It was an organized platform for the workers to encourage their working conditions in mass industries.
Right to Work is termed as a basic right which doesn't insist anyone to join a union for to start a work. It supports the employs in their working space to discuss the problems they face and helps theme to have a structure of organization in their living spaces in work. They still get the benefits of joining the union as it doesn't work on money base with fees or annual increments. The individual has the complete authority to determine whether they have to join a union or not under Right to Work.
