In todays society, to be educated means a lot, considering knowledge is power. Especially for my generation, I feel as if knowledge is very important. Knowledge, as in deeper within wisdom, in a way common sense. I can agree with the article in hence education is essential to having a strong occupational job. Although you may not know exactly what you're going for or have exact interest, going to college and getting that degree at the end of the day is the goal. College is that major step in life that can guide and determine what you could potentially be doing for the rest of your life. There are a multitude of courses that I am interested in, therefore my major in general studies, with a multitude of minors. A couple of courses in particular that I think would greatly push me to pursue my main interests would be BUS-F 301 Financial Management and DHYG-H 300 Clinical Practice A-S. I understand the dental class is for the Dental Hygiene medial students only, but I would really enjoy an internship in the dental field. I took a dual credit program in high school that I really enjoyed that involved a wide variety of dental practices. As far as the business class, I have completed plenty of business courses, and in the future maybe strive for my own business. I am very appreciative for the general studies program for allowing me to pursue all the concepts I am fascinated in. please help reply to this discussion post
