I need help with an Excel Function Formula. Here's the question. In cell F6 enter a formula that will multiply the number of children by the Income Per (Column E). If the number of children is zero (the income isn’t based on a per-child cost), then the formula should return the figure in the Income Per column. D6=Children, E6=Income Per As per the question, I'm assuming that if D6=0 then the answer would be the content in E6 so if D6=0 and E6=110 then the answer would be 110. In the other hand, if D6=9 and E6=220 then the answer is 1980. Am I right? If so, I came up with this formula =IF(D6="0", E6, D6*E6) This works good if the content in D6 is greater than 0 but for some reason if the content is 0 my answer keeps coming up as 0 instead of giving me the content from E6. Help. What am I doing wrong?
