Hi,

I am having trouble with differentiating between continous normal and uniform distribution.

Say there was a whole data set that was normally distributed with a mean of 5min and standard deviation of 1 for a total of 10 races.

Then a question asked let x be the values that are less than 4min for 10 seperate races. What distribution would x follow?

Would it then be uniform distribution as its only asking for the values between 0 and 4?

X ~ U (0, 4)?
