The four nitrogenous bases present in the DNA are adenine, guanine (purines), cytosine, and thiamine (pyrimidines). The RNA also comprise of similar bases with the difference in one of the pyrimidine. In addition, RNA has uracil instead of thymine.
The pentose sugar present in DNA is deoxyribose, while it is ribose in the case of RNA.
