The Palace at Versailles is one of the finest examples of French architecture. It was originally built as a retreat under Louis XIII. He used it for hunting purpose. Later additions were added to the Palace by Louis XIV who gave it its original shape of what it is now. He added Gardens to this complex. The palace is adorned with various rooms and halls. The hall of mirrors being the most well known. The Chateau embellishes a fine piece of architecture. Architects call it as one of the most classic piece of architecture.
