How do their choices fit with the research question and research methodological approach?   My research question is how does pregnancy loss impact maternal mental health? With this question in mind, my population that I will be focusing on are mother’s that have lost a pregnancy at any stage. This could be miscarriage, stillbirth, or during labor. My sampling technique would be to use my social media platforms. I am a member of a few FaceBook groups that are for parents that have lost a child during pregnancy and shortly after. I plan on making a questionnaire and posting it to those groups. I would explain to them that it is for one of my classes, that their responses will remain anonymous, and that they are in no way required to fill it out, but it would be very beneficial of them to do so. I think there may be some ethical issues that could come from my selected sample. One of them, as stated, would be privacy. The Code Ethics states under the Responsibility to Clients section, “Social workers should respect clients’ right to privacy” (Code of Ethics, 2023). So I would ensure to specify that the responses would remain anonymous and will only be used for the research paper purposes
