The female reproductive system includes external(genitals) as well as internal(uterus, fallopian tube, ovaries) sex organs. The ovaries at an interval produce an ovum that passes through the fallopian tube to reach the uterus, in transit, it merges with the sperm causing fertilization of the ovum that begins the embryogenesis result in the development of the fetus.
