Give three most important reasons for population explosion in India.

Expert Solution
Step 1

Population explosion is the number of all organisms, which lives in certain geographical area. It is seen in developing countries. It is the situation where economy is not coping up with the increasing demand of its population.

Step 2

The three reasons for the population explosion in developing countries are as follows:
1. Unemployment: Due to increase in population resources, jobs and employment opportunities are decreasing. This inturn leads to millions of people are jobless. Unemployment is growing day by day people are falling under below poverty line. Because of this many people are migrating to other countries for better employment opportunities.

2. No family planning: People are not planing properly, as they are not maintaining the contraception's and sterilization methods such as vasectomy and tubectomy. The main reason is no  awareness among the people about the future consequences of increasing population.

3. literacy: Most of people are unaware of government polices, family planning due to lack of education. Most of women are illiterate. As they are not educated hence they are not aware of birth control methods and family planning.

Other main reasons of population explosion are increase in birth rate, decrease in infant mortality rate, with improved medical facilities life expectancy growth rate also increased. Increased life expectancy by good quality of food, better nutrition and increased sanitation facilities.
