The second world war or WW2 which is often said to be one of the deadliest wars in human history took place between 1939 to 1945. Most of the world's powerful countries were a part of this but were on opposite sides. On one hand, there were the Allied forces which included U.S., China, UK and Soviet Union. On the other hand, there was the Axis which included Italy, Germany and Japan. All of the countries involved put forth different types of resources that were available in their country to fight this war.
