Question
I am being asked to find upward flux of a field through a surface given by Z. I tried this by doing the partial of Z for all variables, then finding its magnitude. I then found the bounds in polar coordinates by taking the z equation and finding when r would make z 6. I think I messed up somewhere in the process since I didn’t use the Field at all to find the equation to solve. I am not sure where I went wrong or what to do. What is the correct direction to be taking and how is the field used in this problem?
