Buddha was a Indian sramana who went on the path of Enlightenment in order to solve his question regarding the miseries of birth, life and death. His teachings and ideologies got spread and turned as a religion in the Asian countries like China, Nepal and India. The stupa, statues and sculptures related to the life of Buddha is still worshipped by the followers of Buddhism. The places related to Lord Buddha have been often visited by the pilgrims. Buddha is worshipped as the savior, the awakened one, Enlightened one.
