Introduction - Human Body contains around 60 % of water. All the part of the body contains fluid, most of the water contain in brain and minimum in adipose tissue. 

There are mainly two water compartment in the human body-

1) Intracellular Fluid -  The fluid present inside the cells are called intracellular fluid. It constitute most of the fluid part that is 67%. Example is cytosol. 

2) Extra Cellular Fluid- The fluid present outside the cells that is the interstitial fluid. it constitute around 23% of total body fluid. The major portion of extracellular fluid is blood plasma.

Water Balance - Water balance is the balance maintained by the body when the gained of fluid is equal to fluid loss.

Water Loss in Urine 1500
