MEAN ARTERIAL PRESSURE : in medicine mean arterial pressure ( MAP ) refers to an average blood pressure in an individual during a single cardiac cycle .
Mean Arterial Pressure is an important measurement that accounts for flow , resistance and pressure within our arteries . MAP allows only to evaluate how well the blood is flowing through the body and whether the blood is reaching all the major organs or not . It is best to have the MAP value between 70 and 110 mmHg .
