condition of relative consistency is referred to as homeostasis.
Homeostasis is influenced by automatic cellular systems,
neurological and endocrine regulation, and behaviour. Organisms
that function in a larger variety of external conditions have more
sophisticated systems regulating crucial variables, such as the
flexible processes that allow mammals to function in a far greater
range of external temperatures than reptiles. The majority of
physiological homeostatic systems rely on negative feedback,
which occurs when signals relating to the regulated variable are
detected and the system reacts by reducing the signals.

Homeostasis maintains ideal conditions for enzyme functioning
and all cell activities throughout the body. It is the preservation of
a constant internal environment in the face of changing internal
and external circumstances. Controlling blood glucose content is
one of them in the human body.

conditions in the body must be constantly monitored. The
preservation of circumstances by homeostasis is critical since
certain processes (osmosis) and proteins (enzymes) will not work
effectively under the wrong body settings.
Because the activity of most chemical reactions via enzyme
proteins is dependent on fluid pH, one of the most fundamental
physiological roles of homeostasis is the regulation of body fluid
