Explain how to calculate the total number of steps using your visual, and then create a summation to determine that number. Describe the series you utilized and why you chose it.
OK READ ALL OF THIS !
I gave you this question:
Watch the Stairs video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB2spVJl7go&t=0s)
this might be helpful (https://www.stem.org.uk/resources/elibrary/resource/423821/super-stairs#:~:text=How%20many%20steps%20will%20the,take%20him%20to%20run%20them%3F&text=A%20video%20reveals%20that%20there,of%202%20minutes%2056.6%20seconds.)
- * What exactly is going on in the video?
- * Estimate the number of steps the person takes on the super stairs.
- * Make a chart or other visual to show how many steps the person takes.
Explain how to calculate the total number of steps using your graphic, and then create a summation to determine that number. Describe the series you utilized and why you chose it.
Watch the Super Stairs Video's last segment and consider your response.

But you answered only these 3 questions
- * What exactly is going on in the video?
- * Estimate the number of steps the person takes on the super stairs.
- * Make a chart or other visual to show how many steps the person takes.
Because according to your policy you can only “provide the solution only to the first three sub parts as per our Q&A
guidelines.”
But now you need to solve this:
Explain how to calculate the total number of steps using your visual, and then create a summation to determine that number. Describe the series you utilized and why you chose it.
Watch the Super Stairs Video's last segment and consider your response.
Answers you gave me:
The video shows two kinds of stairs:
STAIRS and SUPER STAIRS
It's the method of climbing the stairs that is different.
In the first one, the man is walking normally and descending normally too.
In the second one, the man is walking 1 step and then descending 1 step.
Then the man is walking 2 steps and descending 2 too.
And this goes on until he reaches the top and then descends back.
Let there be total n steps in the super stairs.
The person first walks 1 step and then descends back to the initial position.
Then again the person walks the 2 steps and then descends back to the initial position.
This goes until he walks the n steps.
Therefore,
Total steps taken by the person in order to reach the top:
T = 1+2+3+4+5+… +n
This is an A.P. series with a common difference equal to 1.
T = n/2 (1+n)
For example, if there are 5 steps in the staircase, then the number of steps the man walks upward are:
T = 15
