The battle of Monmouth was the result of the revolutionary activities carried out by the American Nationalists against the British colonization. The battle of Monmouth was fought between the Continental Army led by George Washington and the British army commanded by General Sir Henry Clinton. The battle was fought in June 1778 in one of the towns in New Jersey.
