Examine the image below. The bacteria in this image have been treated with gram straining procedure. Indicate the following information A. Shape ........; Gram stain ( Gram (+), Gram (-) or both ... B. Stained color under microscope..... . C. Is the PG wall think, thin or both ..
The image labeled "A" showcases a microscopic view of a sample stained using a common microbiological technique. The sample contains rod-shaped bacteria stained in a distinct color, typically indicative of a Gram staining method. The background shows a lighter hue, possibly due to the counterstain. This type of image is useful for identifying bacterial morphology and can be used in educational settings to teach about bacterial classification and staining techniques.

Expert Solution
Introduction

Gram staining a differential staining procedure which stains the gram positive cells with primary stain, the crystal violet which is retained by thicker walled gram positive and gram negative cells are stained with the secondary stain, safranin,  as these can not hold the primary stain when decolorizer is applied. Hence appear pink on staining with secondary dye.
