A team is nothing but a group of people working together for achieving common goals. The team contains team members who work with one another. The team will exhibit the highest level of performance if they need an equivalent purpose, there's open communication within the team, members trust one another, create a positive working environment, resolve conflict effectively, flexible and adaptable to vary and specialize in learning new things.
The characteristics of the team that make them high performance are:-
Purpose - The team will specialize in the vision, goals, objectives, and values of the organization and therefore the main purpose of the team is to specialize in achieving the goals by working collaboratively and exhibit proper behavior at the workplace.
Communication - The communication is open within the team, where everyone shares ideas, views, and thoughts. Conflicts are taken in a positive way and team members resolve the conflict collaboratively to return to a standard solution that is useful for business.
Trust - Team members specialize in building trust and increasing team cohesion. The members support one another and supply honest feedback to create confidence in them.
Shared leadership - Shared leadership is that the broadly distributed leadership where the people within the team and organization lead one another . during this sort of leadership every member influence and support one another.
Working style - They use an effective working style by gathering, organizing, and evaluating information. People give innovative ideas and have risk-taking ability.
Building on differences - The team shares their skills, knowledge, and best practices with one another and learns to enhance their knowledge and gain experience.
Flexible - The team members are flexible and adaptable to the changing condition of the business and work efficiently and effectively in challenging work environments.
Learning - The team members specialize in continuous learning to realize knowledge and knowledge and also motivate one another for growth and development.
I have been in a neighborhood of a high-performing team within the past. The team that I want to work with met the standards of a high-performing team. The important norms include:-
- The team members showed a reference to one another and didn't let one another down. This helped in increasing team participation.
- The team wont to celebrate success by taking time from their working hours. this wont to keep us motivated and more focused on the team goal. Celebrating victory is additionally important for building confidence and a level of commitment within the team.
- The leader wasn't authoritative rather supportive. one of the important characteristics of a high-performance team is shared leadership. All the members participate in deciding process. Team members are valued and treated equally.
- The team wont to build solidarity and morale by including fun at work. Humor and fun not only give mental peace but also build energy within the team.
- The team wont to continuously monitor their performance and keep track of all quality parameters. This helped us to enhance their performance continuously.
