BUSINESS FUNCTION
Activities particular to one activity make up a business function. It usually involves a department and happens frequently to aid a company in achieving its goals. Both internal and external functions, which are provided by other parties, can be found in an organization.
The various components of a company function are interconnected. They need information from one another as a result. The degree of integration between functional areas affects a company's productivity, workflow, and communication. There are two types of function: core and support.
BUSINESS PROCESSES
A business process consists of a number of actions that employ the inputs at hand to produce an output that advances a certain goal. This is why efficient process execution is essential for the smooth running of businesses and their expansion.
Business process management (BPM or BPMS) enables organizations to provide the most value. The customer must be taken into account in the resulting value. Business processes have both internal and external customers, much like functions. A business process may be straightforward or complex, depending on the components involved.
