As the lead Completions Engineer with Petroleum Corporation, you are
expected to design a proposal for both the upper and lower completions for
a high angle well in a friable formation. The well intersected two reservoirs
and there is the intention of producing from both reservoirs.
1. Design a proposal for the down hole completion of the well. List and
describe the equipment/components to be used. Explain the reasoning
for your design and provide an annotated (labeled) diagram of the
completion.
2. Discuss the options available in selecting flow conduits for the
production of the two reservoirs. Explain the factors that influence flow
conduit selection. Mention at most two advantages and disadvantages
