Deviance is defined as the behavior that violate social norms. It is also defined as the informal violation of social norms. Human being is an social animal. There are certain actions and behaviors that society expect and wants from every human being. It is called deviance to act contrary to the expectation of society. Norms are defined as the unwritten rules of society. It is the expectation society enforced from peoples. Norm is the standard behavior present in a group of members. That group share equal beliefs, culture and traditions. Norm can also explained as the shared beliefs in a cultural group. There are mainly four types of norms,

When a person violates norm, they lose the recognition of the society.

Crime is the act of punishing one's because of their dangerous and criminal action. Crime should always be punished. Those who commit crimes are called criminals. Our justice system has all the provisions to punish the criminals.
