Describe with examples the young’s modulus, shear modulus and bulk modulus.
Elastic constants are the parameters that are used to calculate the bend of the substance from a specific stress method. The several kinds of elastic constants exist, such as:
- Young's Modulus (E)
- Shear Modulus (G)
- Bulk Modulus (K)
Young's Modulus :-
A calculation of the material characteristics of linear elastic solid particles including such tubes, cables, and so on is known as Young's Modulus or Elastic Modulus. There are many other quantities which offer everyone a calculation of a substance's elastic properties, such as Bulk Modulus and Shear Modulus, but perhaps the most widely known factor is Young's Modulus. It is because it provides us details regarding a material's tensile elasticity (possibility to deform around an axis).
Young's module defines the correlation among stress (force per unit area) as well as strain (relatively deforming an object).
For example :-
Young's modulus of steel is 200×109 N/m2
