Expert Solution
Introduction

Latinos and Asians, when take together, form the largest chunk of immigrant groups in the United States. There are close to 20 million Asians and 58 million Latinos with diverse roots residing in the country. Recently, the Asian immigration growth rate surpassed the Latino immigrant growth rate. Despite visible material differences between these groups, with Asians being materially better off than the Latinos, both groups share similar concerns in terms of human rights. A large chunk of immigrants from these communities have come under heightened state surveillance and policies that seek to further marginalize them. Many of them live under a perpetual threat of deportation.
