Introduction
All cellular activities are basically controlled by the genes. Genes are the coding sequences of DNA found inside the nucleus in all the cell. Genes are the basic genetic material which controls all the physiochemical process occurs in the cell by production of enzymes, proteins etc by formation of mRNA. The number of genes varies species to species and the number of genes doesn’t depends on the complexity of organism and it is referred as C value paradox.
For example, Complex organism such as Humans contains around 25000 genes whereas Daphnia a microscopic crustacean contains about 31000 genes. This unexplained gene diversity is referred to as C value paradox.
