The end of the 18th century saw the end of one revolution and the beginning of another concerning the Americans and the French. The once foes turned friends had a lot to learn from each other and were inspired by the revolutionary ideals and principles espoused. The ripple effect of such ideologies was felt all across the regions as several groups, communities and nations arose in protest against what they perceived to be structural issues in the state.
