a) The reactants given are 

1) Calcium Iodide i.e CaI2 

2) Sodium oxalate i.e Na2C2O4.

Hence the double displacement reaction taking place can be written as,

=> CaI2 (aq) + Na2C2O4 (aq) --------> CaC2O4 (s) + NaI (aq) 

Balancing : Since we have 2 Na in LHS. Hence making it 2 in RHS also.

=> CaI2 (aq) + Na2C2O4 (aq) --------> CaC2O4 (s) + 2 NaI (aq) 

Since all the elements are in equal number in both side of the reaction now.

Hence the reaction is now balanced.
