Increased concentration of HCl will result in more hydrogen gas formation as more collisions will happen in between hydrogen, chloride ions and magnesium. The number of these hydrogen and chloride also increases if the concentration increases.
Also, increased concentration will result in faster reaction rates.
The surface area of the magnesium strip also matters, if the surface area is more then that reaction will proceed faster producing more H2 gas.
