Answer
Blue light has a wavelength approximately near to 500 nano- meter. And it has the shorter wavelength in visible spectrum.
We know that resolving power is directly proportional to wavelength of light and inversely proportional to resolution.
Means if wavelength decreases , resolving power also decreases and resolution increases. And if wavelength increases , resolving power also increases and resolution decreases.
Resolution is defined as the ability of a microscope to differentiate between small specimen which are placed too close.
