ATP is fundamental to cells. How is ATP’s structure related to its function? What is ATP’s role in energy coupling, and why do cell recycle between ADP and ATP?

short answer please

Expert Solution
Step 1

ATP is fundamental to cells.

Adenosine triphosphate, or ATP, is the essential transporter of energy in cells. The water-interceded response known as hydrolysis lets energy out of the compound bonds in ATP to fuel cell processes. adenosine triphosphate (ATP), an energy-conveying atom found in the cells of every living thing.

How is ATP’s structure related to its function?

ATP functions as the energy money for cells. It permits the cell to store energy momentarily and transport it inside the cell to help endergonic substance responses. The construction of ATP is that of an RNA nucleotide with three phosphates appended.

ATP: carries/stores energy for cell functions. Energy is released when a phosphate group is removed. ADP is changed back into ATP when a phosphate group is added. ADP is recycled.
