As more and more people understand India's lowly place in the British Empire, discontent is spreading throughout India's three hundred million people. More and more they realize that amid the different religions of people in India, there is one basic nationality tying us together, we are Indian. As more and more people realize this, unhappiness spreads and takes the form of demands that Indians should be given the same human rights as British people. It is impossible that the desire for equal human rights can be forever ignored, and equally impossible for India to remain controlled by the British Empire. It then is unsurprising that the millions of India are dissatisfied with being ruled by the unsympathetic British, ignorant of the needs of the Indian people. Not even the "mild" Indian can bear this forever. Is it possible for the patriotic spirit of Indians with our glorious traditions to be happy with slavery? A1) What is the main idea of this document?
