A teacher wants to form a linear regression equation to predict a student's Score on the final based on the number of hours they spent studying for it. Final scores are in percents. y=2x + 60 R-Squared 0.65 %3D What does the slope mean in terms of the situation?
Correlation
Correlation defines a relationship between two independent variables. It tells the degree to which variables move in relation to each other. When two sets of data are related to each other, there is a correlation between them.
Linear Correlation
A correlation is used to determine the relationships between numerical and categorical variables. In other words, it is an indicator of how things are connected to one another. The correlation analysis is the study of how variables are related.
Regression Analysis
Regression analysis is a statistical method in which it estimates the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variable. In simple terms dependent variable is called as outcome variable and independent variable is called as predictors. Regression analysis is one of the methods to find the trends in data. The independent variable used in Regression analysis is named Predictor variable. It offers data of an associated dependent variable regarding a particular outcome.

What does the slope mean in terms of the situation?
O For each additional hour a student studies, their grade on the final increases by 2%.
O For each additional 2 hours a student student studies, their score on the final increases by 1%.
O Every hour a student studies, increases their score on the final.
O Always choose C.
O The more a student studies, the better they will do on the final.](/v2/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcontent.bartleby.com%2Fqna-images%2Fquestion%2F1936f8d1-59af-4ed0-a4c5-a72042495b23%2Ff7e57dc1-8859-4495-bb5b-f90272ea2b77%2Fb6rr73k_processed.jpeg&w=3840&q=75)
