To find the transfer function using block reduction some rules to be followed.

  1. If blocks are in series equivalent block is product of blocks.
  2. If blocks are in parallel equivalent block is sum of the blocks
  3. if block is in negative feedback with forward gain G and feedback H equivalent block is G/(1+GH).
  4. If block is in positive feedback with forward gain G and feedback H equivalent block is G/(1-GH).
