G are roller bearings (Roller), point B is hinge bearings (Hinge), and
points B and F are internal connections (Pin), this beam is subjected
to two forces in total : 1.2 kips/ft uniform live load (Live Load) and 2
kips/ft uniform distribution dead load (Dead Load).
(c) What is the maximum possible reaction force of the support under
the action of the two forces? Appear at that point?
Tip: The distribution position of the live load can be appropriately
selected, and the dead load is the self-weight of the structure itself, so
the whole beam is evenly distributed.
