initial thought was that there will be no difference between the growth in indoor or outdoor. He
decided to plant ten plants in identical pots using same type and same amount of soil. Then he
placed five of them in outdoor location and the other five in an indoor location. The outdoor
plants were receiving same amount of sunlight and both indoor and outdoor plants were given
same amount of water. Each day for three weeks the plant growth was observed and measured
by recording the size of each plant. It was observed that the indoor plants had grown more in
size than the outdoor plants.
