2. Sampling Error. What iS a sampling error? How does it differ from other sources of error? In general, how does the sampling error increase or decrease with larger sample sizes? Explain.
Question 2 please
Sampling Error :
Sampling error is the deviation between the sample statistic(estimator) and the true value of the population. Sampling errors have their origin in sampling and sampling error arises because of the fact that the sample is only a part of the population and only the part of the population(sample) has been used to estimate population parameters and draw inferences about the population.
Other sources of errors are non-sampling errors which are due to faulty planning, response errors, non-response biases, compiling errors, and publication errors. Non-sampling errors present in both the cases, sampling(enumeration of a part of population) and complete census (enumeration of the population) while sampling errors are absent in case of the census.
