When presented with challenging or undesirable tasks, Jenn often engages in aggression (ex. hitting, kicking, and biting) disruptions, and inappropriate play. The data showed a second function of Jenn's maladaptive behaviors to be attention. Jenn's inappropriate play behaviors often coincide with efforts to gain positive or negative attention from staff. Antecedents to Jenn's maladaptive behaviors observed that could possibly be influencing the rate of Jenn's maladaptive behaviors included unclear task demands, and motivating operations that may be influencing Jenn include lack of attention and lack of choice. Consequences to Jenn's problem behavior often include removal of the current task demand as well as providing Jenn with attention. While both functions are important, this behavior support plan will prioritize escape/avoidance due to its prevalence across both direct and indirect assessments, as well as its significant impact on Jenn's task performance. The behavior plan will focus on using differential reinforcement of alternative behaviors to help promote Jenn's fluency in manding for her needs appropriately either verbally or through use of a Picture Exchange Communication System while focusing on refraining from engaging in physical aggression, disruptions, or inappropriate play. Replacement Behavior - what will the individual do instead of the problem behavior that will serve the same function as the problem behavior? • The replacement response MUST serve the same function, but in an appropriate manner. Operational Definition: Define the problem behavior in observable and measurable terms Who will teach it? The parent, BCBA, etc...? Who will help? Who are people who can support the individual in quickly acquiring the replacement response? How will they do it? Be specific. Task analyze teaching sessions here. Include how the session will be set up, the materials needed, and how the individual will be taught. 近 x W P Sign in Share Activate Windows Go to Settings to activate Windows.
