5. Type your answer below. (2 points) Can the Minimum be considered an outlier? Explain using the limits from #4. Yes, the minimum could be considered an outlier because it is 3,096.64 and that is 13k away from Q1 and 16k away from the median which I would consider to be a big difference therefore making it an outlier. Can the Maximum be considered an outlier? Explain using the limits from #4. Yes, I also believe that the maximum could be an outlier I say this because its 32,917.02 and that is 13k away from the median and 9k away from Q3 so it cause quite the distance to those numbers 6. Type your answers in the table below. (3 points) Label Value (x) z-score If the data distribution were bell- shaped, would this be consider an outlier? Minimum 3096.64 -3.0648668 Yes Maximum 32917.02 2.48077311 No 7. Type your answer below. (2 points) To me the maximum z score seems normal it would not be considered an outlier based on my research -3 and +3 are where you would get into outlier territory at. So the maximum z score falls between those bounds so I would consider this a normal z score 8. Paste your Excel output below. (3 points) 9. Type your answer below. (1 point) The outlier is a low outlier, and it is the minimum from the 5 number summary which is 3096.64.
