Which questions would you eliminate first (if any) – why? I would eliminate question 9 due to its poor discrimination rate. I would also eliminate question 2 and 3 because they appear to be super easy, especially if I would want to challenge my students. 5. Is this test overall a good test according to the discrimination index? Calculate the discrimination values both with and without the questions you may have decided to eliminate in question 4. Why or why not? The overall discrimination for all the questions is .26 but is rises to .4 when the three questions are eliminated. The outcome would make the test more challenging hence enhancing its usefulness. 6. What is the overall difficulty level of this test? Calculate the difficulty values both with and without the questions you may have decided to eliminate in question 4. Is this test too easy, too hard, or just right? The overall difficulty level of the test is 0.65 before eliminating the three questions but changes to 4.4 after eliminating the three questions, which makes the test more effective.
