Paul Hansen L33560278 UNIV101: Foundational Skills (B47) Professor Fredrich 2 October 2023 Biblical Worldview Worldviews are unique perspectives that shape and define how we interact and understand the world. Worldviews are rooted in consistent doctrine, attitude, or way of life such as humanism or Christianity. Within Christianity exists a biblical worldview. A biblical worldview would be one where the word of God is the cornerstone of your worldview. A person who interprets and understands the world based on the bible. It is a perspective that shapes one's beliefs, values, and behavior, guiding how individuals perceive the world, themselves, and others around them within biblical principles and teachings. Liberty University provides one of the greatest opportunities for developing one's own biblical worldview. With numerous students to grow and develop alongside in the word through evangelism and studying the bible. There are also plentiful service opportunities to participate in Lynchburg and the surrounding community. Once a Christian puts their faith in Jesus, the word of God should guide their relationships, decisions, and aspirations. Through biblical teachings a Christians should gain a sense of purpose and use the bible to navigate the challenges and complexities of the world. Life as a believer in Liberty University is not solitary. Believers find strength and encouragement in the fellowship of like-minded students who came to Liberty to become Champions for Christ. Together, they worship, pray, and support one another in a shared search for Christ. Through education one should seek to glorify God in all they do, whether it be studying or fellowship with fellow students. Culture is a “way of life”. Liberty has its own developed culture one of young Christians seeking to further their education and above all relationship with Christ. While students come from all diverse cultures across the world. The word of God transcends language and culture. Liberty’s culture thrives due to a community of fellow followers. As those came to liberty sought out a college which glorified the gospel “a biblical worldview” above other worldviews. With this worldview we should be commissioned to go out and share Jesus too all cultures so that we can all receive salvation and be under one culture.
The biblical worldview guides believers in their ethical choices and decisions. Through principles and commandments, the gospel acts as a moral compas offering solutions to the moral difficulties of the modern world.
