Christian Core Beliefs
When it comes to core Christian beliefs, there can be very different answers.
You will get
different answers depending on whether you discuss this topic with an older generation of
Christians or a newer generation of Christians. But the question is not what people believe, but
what the Bible says as a foundation for being a Christian. Christian faith is knowledge of truth,
not what we think is right. Christianity is monotheistic religion that believes in the one and true
and living God. Also, the core essential is the teachings of the word of the lord and the life and
miracles and return of Jesus Christ
For starter you must believe in Jesus Christ as your lord and personal saver, Jesus is the
main religious figure in Christianity. According to Myers and Nobel “The Christian worldview is
based squarely on the person of Jesus Christ," Myers and Nobel (2015). Christians believe the
God is light and has the power of all things on earth, with beliefs that the way to eternal life in
paradise is you follow the roadmap to heaven which is the bible.
“
In philosophical terms, he's the
necessary condition for everything else" (Myers & Nobel, p. 29) Before Jesus was born, he was
mentioned several times in the Old Testament about being the eternal savior from sin. According
to Scripture Isaiah 9:6-7 states “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government
will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting
Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He
will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and
righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish
this”
(Holy Bible, New International Version, 1973/2018).

Also, Christians essentially believe of Jesus returning to earth and collect the ones that
believed in him and send them to heaven which is the final home for Christians the book
revelations reveal what believers have in store. The book of revelation explains a lot about
what’s going to happen when Christ returns for the believers. Revelations 21:1-5 states “Then I
saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and
there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven
from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from
the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with
them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will
wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for
the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making
everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true”
(Holy Bible, New International Version, 1973/2018).
The belief a Person, Organization, or a church must uphold in order to be right in the
lord.
God is omnipotent because The Bible is the primary source for Christians to know and learn
God's Word through its teachings. These teachings and beliefs are a collection of his books
divided into two parts, written and maintained by people who spoke directly to or through God.
Is that Jesus is the savior and salvation for all of us to be freed from sin. Even though Many
people and organizations would argue that the scriptures of were created by the people who
wrote them because they are personal accounts of what happened during that time. Which is semi
true because according to scripture 1 Peter 1:20-21" Above all, you must understand that no
prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation of things. For prophecy

never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were
carried along by the Holy Spirit," (Holy Bible, New International Version 1973/2018).
Another core belief is sin, Sin is any unholy acts against God many Christians believe
that sinning is a way to not get to paradise that’s why a lot of Christians also believe in
repentance, Repentance is asking the lord for forgiveness after they have sin to be redeemed and
giving a second chance. You can be forgiven from every sin you commit except blasphemy and
that’s the mocking of God, Scripture Mathhew 12:31-32 states “And so I tell you, every kind of
sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven”
(Holy
Bible, New International Version 1973/2018). Also, Myers and Nobel stated, "We cannot simply
rely on Christ to save us...rather, once we embrace the ultimate sacrifice God made for us, we
gain power through the Holy Spirit to adhere to his moral order" (Myers & Nobel, p. 40).
Also, Christians having a core belief of Sin leads to another core belief of Salvation as I
mentioned earlier through the son of man Jesus Christ.
Christians believe that Jesus was made by
God and that He came to earth to redeem humanity through His death and resurrection. Salvation
is a gift from God achieved through faith in Jesus as God's Son and Savior.
Christians have a
core belief when it comes to resurrection and judgement day of the dead is also an integral part
of Christian theology. Christians believe in the physical resurrection of both saved and unsaved
people. Those who accept Christ will be resurrected to eternal life, but those who reject Christ
will be separated from God forever.
Additionally, Christian beliefs emphasize the importance of
love, compassion, and moral living. Followers of Christ are encouraged to follow the teachings
and example of Jesus and love God and his neighbor as himself.
5
In conclusion Christians will always have core beliefs that will never be unchanged
especially pertain to Gods grace and the sacrifice the Son of man which is Jesus Christ have done
for us as his believer. As Christians we have dedicated our lives to God in many ways. by going
to church frequently and follow the laws of life so that they can please God in the best possible
way. All Christian beliefs and practices began with Jesus His Christ and reading the Bible to
understand his methods and teachings and gain a deeper understanding of how to live your best
life. God has a plan for all Christians.
