The Middle East is Made up of 22 countries North Africa, Algeria, Bahrain, the Comoros Islands, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. All of these countries have many similarities but also differences They all practice monotheistic religions The most practiced religion is Islam There are many conflicts between the countries Palestine and Israel are continuously fighting over land Syria’s government is corrupt and killing its own people Violence, bloodshed, casualties, and grief These troubled civilians from these ruined countries Come take refuge in the United States Poverty in the middle east is growing as well At least one in four children live in poverty But the countries are prospering with wealth While the citizens struggle to feed themselves the governments bathe in their wealth It’s all corrupt
