2 Normal Behavior Normalcy is a subjective concept impacted by cultural, societal, and personal variables. It may be tough to judge behaviors and determine what is typical. This paper investigates the problems in judging conduct and the arbitrary character of normality. It also entails observing odd activity, assessing it using the 4D model as a framework, and examining one's reactions to the behaviors. By investigating these issues, we may better grasp the intricacies of normalcy and the significance of environment and perception. Normality is subjective and contextual, which complicates matters. According to Simanullang (2022), "normal behavior" can be defined as actions, ideas, and feelings that comport with societal or cultural norms and expectations. Approaching conduct with empathy and an open mind is necessary for evaluating it. Understanding how different contexts and cultures define normality helps us understand human conduct more fully and promotes tolerance and acceptance. In conclusion, the subjective character of normalcy needs a sympathetic and open-minded viewpoint when examining behavior in various situations. A methodology for assessing abnormal behaviors is called the 4D framework. The 4Ds are deviance, distress, dysfunction, and danger. Stein et al. (2021) define deviance as the study of behavior that differs from accepted social norms. Also, behavior that upsets someone's emotions or produces psychological anguish is referred to as distress; while behavior that impedes regular functioning or interpersonal connections is referred to as dysfunction. Finally, a person who engages in dangerous action puts themselves or other people at risk hence a danger to themselves. Therefore, this is the 4D framework that helps psycologist assess normal behavior.
3 While visiting a local café, I came across a middle-aged man who caught my attention with his unusual demeanor. He appeared unaware of his surroundings as he sat alone while making frantic movements and talking to himself. This act caught the public's attention in the cafe since it differed from accepted norms, causing other customers to take note and worry. The 4D model can help us clarify human conduct and assess it as normal or abnormal, such as the above individual (Münch et al., 2020). His public self-conversation was aberrant because it defied societal norms. Thus, this remark highlights how the man's action deviated from the usual, calling for a closer investigation of what exactly qualifies as typical activity. Consequently, determining the man's level of distress from an outside view is challenging. Based on his vigorous motions and impassioned speech, he may be suffering emotional upheaval or underlying mental health concerns (Aftab & Rashed, 2021). His activities also clash with regular human routine, which makes it challenging for him to regularly interact with other people and be aware of his surroundings. His behaviours do not put him or anybody else in risk, but they raise concerns about his general well-being and the potential for things to go worse. The encounter with the man at the café elicited amazement, curiosity, and apprehension. As appropriate reactions, I contemplated interfering, expressing concern, or contacting the café personnel. Nonetheless, due to the uncertainty surrounding the individual's circumstances and my respect for his autonomy, I elected not to act personally. Despite personal engaging or interfearing with this man, I remained watchful to avoid a potentially deadly situation from arising. This incident illustrated the need of striking a balance between respect and empathy when identifying and responding to unusual behaviours.

4 In conclusion, judging circumstances that differ from the norm might be difficult. Hence, this necessitates using methodologies such as the 4D framework in conjunction with personal openness and empathy when evaluating behavior among people. Critical concerns demonstrating the numerous shades of normalcy are the difficulties in defining normalcy and the importance of empathy and openness. Community awareness and openness on this psychological human behavior topic of normalcy is important as it helps people sympathize and empathize with the mentally challenged. References
