Of the emerging technologies talked about in the report, which one do you believe has a high potential of taking over people's jobs? Why do you think so?
The upcoming technology identified in the report, robotics technology, is the one that I believe has the most significant potential to replace people's occupations shortly. As the advancement of robotics and artificial intelligence technologies has progressed, we have witnessed a reduction in human employment options worldwide. It is not difficult to understand why. On the other hand, humans are living beings that require rest and recovery after a day's labour; robots, on the other hand, are continuously available and operable resources that are both effective and cost-saving for every firm. Furthermore, human workers are compensated with wages, frequently accompanied by crucial social advantages such as incentives and health care. Still, robots do not have the same want or desire for such compensation in the first place (CNBC International, 2018). So it is evident why many organizations choose automated operations by robots in various industries, owing to the cost-effectiveness of the robots in many situations and situations. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics graph, the manufacturing industry has the most significant drop in employment chances out of all sectors represented in the chart. (West, 2015).
As a result, this graph illustrates even more clearly why robotic technology has the most significant potential to
replace people's occupations, given that automated processes by robots are most typically seen in the manufacturing sector. As robotics and artificial intelligence technology progress, it is expected to become more
prevalent in the future. Robots will be used more frequently in various industries other than manufacturing, including health care, transportation, administrative support, and logistics, and they will eliminate a large number of jobs across all of these industries. As both Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk have publicly said that robots may one day surpass human capacities in the future, it is essential to note that (Waldrop, 2018). Companies may seek to replace human workers with robots not only because of their cost-effectiveness but also to decrease human mistakes and errors and benefit from the high efficiency of the robots.

Looking at the emerging technologies discussed in the report, which one do you believe has the lowest potential of taking over people's jobs? What are your reasons?
Autonomous vehicles are the technology that I have picked for this particular inquiry, as evidenced by what we
see on the streets and in the news and media. The global market for electric vehicles has emerged as a new and
stable market. Many automotive companies have attempted to incorporate autonomous driving technology into
these vehicles while also developing autonomous driving technology at a rapid pace. Along with electric vehicles, many automotive companies have also attempted to incorporate autonomous driving technology into these vehicles while also developing autonomous driving technology at a rapid pace. Although there has been a
significant advancement in autonomous driving, it is my personal view that, despite this,
Because of technological advancements, this will not necessarily imply that all bus and taxi drivers and train operators and aircraft pilots will lose their employment immediately because the transportation industry has always had a close relationship with the lives of its passengers. The lives of those who may be injured or killed in an accident, I believe that it will take a long time before the majority of the world's population can truly entrust their safety and lives to autonomous vehicles and instead rely on the human drivers who operate them. An intrinsic and intuitive response of the human senses in the face of potentially hazardous driving conditions This point of view on public transportation safety can be shared by the general population. Because planes convey and carry people's lives simultaneously, they are more efficient than buses. The public's preference will always trend toward the importance of safety as a top concern. In the public transportation sector, it is unclear whether or not autonomous vehicles will completely replace human drivers' work shortly.

How have some or all of these emerging technologies impacted your life? These impacts can be positive, negative or both. Even in my own life, I've seen the consequences of developing technologies in action. My opinion is that everyday use of social media and video platforms such as Instagram, Netflix, and Youtube has had the most significant impact thus far on the way we communicate. These platforms collect statistical data and develop computational algorithms tailored to each member's interests and tendencies on the forum. Following the information gathered by the media, whenever I enter these platforms, the videos that are tailored to my statistical movement and interests will be displayed immediately on the screen. Thus, I can assert that these computerized algorithms somehow influence me daily by directing my attention and my mind to specific videos and tailored-made advertisements.
As a last note, however, I am concerned that these growing technologies will eventually replace me in my current position in the future. I do not believe that these technologies have had a detrimental impact on my life,

but rather a positive one. As previously said, the application of artificial intelligence and computerized algorithms has served to satisfy consumers' needs better and make their lives more convenient in various ways. After all, these inventions and technological advancements are not intended to eliminate jobs or harm society but rather to create modern civilization's life more accessible and enjoyable.
