Paradigm Toys Ethics Report
Paradigm Toys has had a long run of success over the last 50 years. This has competed
with bigger chains like Toys R Us, Walmart, Target and has grown to be a fortune 500 company

ignoring changes in culture and technological opportunities. This report will present Paradigm

ethical responsibility. Furthermore, this report will discuss the importance of leadership role in
developing a ethical culture within the organization and the benefits of a ethics audit. Lastly, this
report will present an ethical framework that Paradigm Toys can implement during ethical
dilemmas and propose a ethics training program for upper management.

has towards stakeholders and society. The reason that Paradigm Toys should care about
Corporate Social Responsibility for pragmatic, ethical, and strategic reasons (). The pragmatic
reasoning is based on the idea that since a corporation has power, it has the responsibility to use
it wisely or have it taken away. The ethical reasoning suggests that the corporation is a part of
society and should act in society’s best interest because it is moral thing to do. Lastly, strategic
reasoning, similar to the ethical reasoning, suggests that a company should act in the best interest
of society because it helps society stay healthy and a healthy society is good for business ().
